As the new main hub site for the Tennis Wales Coach Development Centre Cardiff Metropolitan University are committed to workforce development. Thus, alongside hosting LTA coach qualification courses and the flagship Tennis Wales Coaches’ Conference, the centre will also provide unique vocational opportunities enhancing the development of a breadth of career pathways within the tennis industry.

Wrexham Tennis Centre

Wrexham Tennis Centre (WTC)  is an indoor and outdoor public facility open to all ages and abilities with no membership required. The centre is one of the largest in Britain boasting 7 indoor and 7 outdoor acrylic courts. The centre provides coaching across three areas Play / Develop / Perform and are heavily focussed on delivering inclusive tennis culminating in being award Tennis Wales Disability Programme of the Year 2019.

WTC also hosts local graded events all the way to international ones across the year. Workforce development forms an important part of WTC focus for 2021 and being awarded Satellite status within the Tennis Wales Coach Development Centre.
