The LTA Level 3 Coach Course is for people who want to work full time within the tennis coaching profession. To book a place on this course simply choose a suitable date / location and then complete the registration form and payment section.
IMPORTANT
Please ensure you have the following pre-requisites in place BEFORE booking:
- Hold a valid LTA DBS. For safeguarding integrity, risk management, and to remain in line with sector-wide best practice, the LTA are unable to accept a DBS certificate that is older than 12 months for booking on the LTA Coach qualification – apply for a DBS.
- Hold a valid certificate of competence in either First Aid at Work (FAW), Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW), Paediatric First Aid (PFA) or have successfully completed the OFQUAL Level 3 in First Aid prior to assessment.
- A current or previous rating of 6.1 or higher or successfully complete a coach readiness test. The readiness test can take up to 2 weeks to complete – please allow sufficient time to complete. The test must be uploaded and sent to the LTA Assessor team. Book a LTA Coach Readiness Test.
If you do not have the above in place when booking you will not be able to attend the course or receive a refund.

The LTA Coach Course is split into 4 modules:
Module 1 – 3rd & 4th December 2026 (pre course remote on 27th November 2026)
Module 2 – 11th, 12th & 13th January 2027 (pre course remote 8th January 2027)
Module 3 – 15th & 16th February 2027 (pre course remote 5th February 2027)
Module 4 – 15th & 16th March 2027 (pre course remote 12th March 2027)
