The LTA Instructor course is ideal for those looking to build on the coaching foundations of the LTA Assistant Course, enabling you to lead (not assist) in the delivery of group coaching. To book a place on this course simply choose a suitable date / location and then complete the registration form and payment section.

IMPORTANT

Please ensure you have the following pre-requisites in place BEFORE booking:

  • Hold a valid LTA DBS – apply for a DBS.
  • Hold a valid certificate of competence in either First Aid at Work (FAW), Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW), Paediatric First Aid (PFA) or have successfully completed the OFQUAL Level 3 in First Aid prior to assessment.
  • A current or previous rating of 7.1 or higher or successfully complete a readiness test. The readiness test can take up to 2 weeks to complete – please allow sufficient time to complete. The test must be uploaded and sent to the LTA Assessor team. Book an LTA Instructor Readiness test.

If you do not have the above in place when booking you will not be able to attend the course or receive a refund.

As part of the course you will be required to complete experience hours with a qualified LTA Accredited+ tennis coach. If you have already organised your coach experience please give the name of the coach and venue(s) where this experience will take place. We do have a number of flagship venues we can recommend for your experience and are happy to put you in touch.
